High Holiday Information

Tickets
Tickets are not required for admission to High Holiday worship.  Services are open to members, their guests and the community.

Reciprocal Tickets at Other Congregations
Temple Israel members in good standing may request tickets to High Holiday services at other Reform congregations.  If you'll be traveling during the holidays and would like to attend services, click here to request tickets.  Temple Israel will forward your request to the host congregation, and that congregation will respond to you.  All seating is subject to the host congregation's policies; Temple Israel cannot guarantee seating at any other synagogue.

Children
Parents, if you think your kids are ready to join the adult services during High Holidays, please bring them.  We especially encourage all children fourth grade and older to attend.  Childcare, which includes hands-on, age-appropriate Jewish programming for children age 11 and under, will be available during all High Holiday services by advanced reservation only.
To make a childcare reservation, click here.

Prayerbooks
Please bring your own copy of Gates of Repentence if you own one (we recommend that you write your name in your book).  Temple lends copies of Gates of Repentence on a first-come, first-served basis.  You may purchase prayerbooks online from Amazon or the CCAR Press.  You may also call the CCAR press at 212-972-3636 or send them an email
.

Assistive Hearing Devices
Temple has a small number of assistive hearing devices to lend that work only in the Great Hall.

Parking
Ample parking is available at Temple Israel.  Security will be present to direct traffic.  Arrive earlier if you wish to park closer to the building.
